techMate is a simple, chat-based assistant that helps you troubleshoot everyday tech problems—whether it’s your device not working, a software issue, or setting up equipment. It uses AI to guide you step-by-step so you don’t have to search through long help articles or wait on hold with customer support. Whether you're confident with tech or just need a little extra help, techMate is here to make things easier.

How It Works

  1. After signing into the app, you’ll be prompted to describe your tech issue.
  2. Share as much detail as you can—like the device or software you’re using, and what’s going wrong—then click “Send” to get started.
  3. techMate’s AI assistant will guide you step-by-step through possible solutions based on what you’ve shared.
  4. You can go back and forth with the assistant—add more details, ask follow-up questions, or point out if something didn’t work. It’s a real conversation, not just one-time advice.
  5. If you run into a new issue later, click “New Chat” in the top right to start fresh.

How do I start a chat?

How do I delete a chat?
Tap the menu icon (☰) in the top left, find your past chats, then tap the three dots next to the one you want to delete and select “Delete.”

How do I rename a chat?
Open the menu (☰) in the top left, go to your past chats, tap the three dots next to the chat, and select “Rename.”

How do I update my name?
Tap the menu icon (☰) in the top left, select “My Profile,” then enter your name and save your changes.

How do I sign out of techMate?
Tap the menu icon (☰), go to “My Profile,” then scroll down and tap “Sign Out.”

How do I reset my password?
techMate uses passwordless authentication. To log in, enter your email, and you'll receive a sign-in link.

How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from the app settings under “Account” → “Delete Account.” This action is irreversible.
